About Us

Rosenboom Boer Goats the first entity in the Trifecta

Roland Rosenboom of Clifton, Illinois, known as Rollie thru out the industry, is no stranger to heading up a top notch livestock breeding program.  His reputation of breeding and selling Championship Suffolk Sheep goes back to the 1960’s as well as being a renowned auctioneer, calling many successful livestock auctions from coast to coast. Today he maintains a herd of Suffolk Sheep, continues his auctioneering, as well as being the Broker-Owner of a successful real estate firm with six offices and 100 Realtors in Central Illinois.  Over the years his interest grew in the Boer Goat industry and today it is his main livestock focus, running a herd numbering over 100 full blood Traditional Boer Goats.  His passion for top quality genetics with the Suffolk Sheep carried into his Boer Goat breeding program.  Rollie augmented his herd from successful breeders, some of which were Paul Hollman of Texas, David Dale of Oklahoma, Norman Kohl of Texas, Pair A Docs Boer Goats of Texas, Able Acres of Indiana and Buckeye Illini Genetics of Ohio a program which Rollie remains in partnership with also.

HWX Boer Goats the second entity in the Trifecta

HWX Boer Goats is co-owned by Steve Homerding and Calvin Wagner.  They are both instrumental to improving the genetics of Trifecta Boers, their original herd of full bred and percentage traditional Boer Goats has not only grown significantly in size, but they are also producing top quality does and wether Boer Goats for sale.  Both Steve & Calvin have a reputation and the desire to always breed and present livestock whether for sale or in the show ring at their best, due to their years of experience in the cattle industry.  They are also co-owners of HWX Cattle Co. Milford, Illinois.  Their program has produced many winners in the show ring with the club calves they sell.

Color Galore Boer Goats the third entity in the Trifecta

Color Galore Boer Goats is co-owned by Lisa Homerding and Mary Lou Knecht, a mother and daughter partnership.  Lisa is a kindergarten teacher and after her marriage to Steve, she naturally became involved with their livestock program.  Mary Lou is a Real Estate Broker and the General Manager of   Rosenboom Realty.  Her interest in the Boer Goat industry grew because of her daughter and son-in-laws herd and with her partnership in Rosenboom Realty with Rollie Rosenboom.  Lisa and Mary Lou became intrigued with the Colored Boers and have concentrated on the breeding of full blood  black, red and paints.  They anxiously wait with anticipation the arrival of each new set of kids to see the results from their black buck SCFG BLACKWATER and from their flushing program to sires RRD HAMMERTINE and SWE MAIN EVENT from their black does.  They are extremely proud of the superior genetics along with the muscle, width and extension they are adding to their color program.  They will be offering colored does, bucks and wether Boer Goats for sale in the spring of 2009.

These three entities now make up what the owners feel is a real winning Trifecta for buyers.  Trifecta Boer Goats has what buyers are looking for, whether improving a herd, starting of a herd or presenting a string of show goats...  Full Blood or Percentage Traditional Does, Bucks and Wethers, Black, Red or Paint Full Blood or Percentage Does, Bucks and Wethers, all available with one call or visit to Trifecta Boers.

Trifecta Boer Goats will always be committed to continually breed for the best Boer blood in America.
